Shot Glass For Wedding

shot glass wedding Favors
When considering your wedding favors you will need balance finding something which matches your wedding style with your budget. Whilst most favors come in around the same price range, glass favors tend to be slightly cheaper and shot glasses are a particularly versatile idea for your wedding.
Glass is timeless and can easily be bought in bulk. Shot glasses present options for being personalized with your names and wedding date and can also be bought individually or in sets. But what else can you do with them? Here are some ideas:
-
As mentioned above, have them personalized and give them as they are perhaps presented in nice boxes.
-
Fill them with candies, mints or nuts and place your name cards on top at each place setting.
-
Use them to hold tea lights or votive candles, they can revert back to being shot glassed once the candles have burned out.
-
Add in miniature bottles of spirits to make cheerful wedding favors for adults!
-
Use them as containers for seedlings. Choose something exotic like chili’s or simply flower seedlings which match those in your wedding bouquet.
-
Create traditional wedding favors with a modern twist by filling with almonds or chocolates in fives, representing health, wealth, happiness, longevity and fertility.
-
Print out cards with instructions for games which can be played with shot glasses and spirits.
-
Fill with chocolate poker chips or mini playing cards for a Vegas themed wedding.
-
Add a chrome bottle pourer which can be placed on the guest’s choice of liquor.
You can find shot glasses in most favor stores or try wholesalers if you need to buy in bulk. You don’t really need to add in much else by way of packaging although presenting them in a nice box works well for a formal, traditional wedding style. If you wanted to add thank you or name tags these can easily be tied around the glasses with ribbon or simply placed inside.

Fun Custom Bachelor Party Favors
Parties of all sorts usually offer guests some sort of keep sake or party favor that can be used and taken home. Bachelor parties are no exception to the rule so you will want to be able to give your guests a favor that will remind them of your fun and exciting bachelor party! Bachelor parties are the groom‘s last night as a single man; definitely a day to remember! When it comes to favors for a bachelor’s party it’s ideal that the ones you choose are fun and customizable. This way you can personalize the favors to match the special occasion.
Below are some bachelor favors that are fun and can be customized. With these items it’s always a good idea to have your party’s date placed somewhere so that everyone remembers your last night before taking the leap!
Most men love to drink beer and most men who attend a bachelor’s party generally drink some sort of alcoholic beverage. Beer mugs make for a great favor because they can be used and taken home once the party has ended. The beer mug you choose will depend on your own wants and needs. Classic beer mugs hold a large volume of beer and are usually thicker and durable. There are also other types of beer mugs that can be customized including pilsner glasses and even gauntlets.
Key chains
Though they are simple key chains are always fun bachelor favors because they are versatile, inexpensive, and can be customized. You could choose to buy key chains that are multi-functional, such as those with a flash light or a pen. You may find that key chains with items such as a pocket screw driver or a beer bottle opener are even more fitting for the occasion.
Shot glasses
shot glasses make for the perfect bachelor’s favor because they are small but practical, customizable, and can be displayed and/or used long after the party is over. shot glasses are relatively inexpensive to purchase and can be customized in bulk so that each one is the same. Customizing a shot glass usually involves some sort of glass etching. You can choose to have words, pictures, and designs engraved right into each shot glass.
Bachelor parties are meant to be full of fun, excitement, and celebration! Make sure that everyone who attends is able to remember the night with the use of fun custom bachelor party favors. Remember that the favors you choose should be fun and usable though the item you choose is entirely up to your discretion. Some like to use favors that coincide with the bachelor’s party theme while others simply pick up party favors that they know everyone will like. No matter what just be sure to have some sort of favor for your friends and family to take back home with them in order to have a token to keep for memories sake.

Art Deco Liquor dispenser/carousel?
Hi
this will be a tough one, But I recently came across a hand pump liquor dispenser which has a chrome tray collar and six shot glasses with green bands on some and blue bands on the others.
The chrome collar/tray fits around the neck of the bottle, and the shot glasses rest on the tray. when you pump the handle, it pours out one shot of liqour into each shot glass.
The Dispenser is glass, the pump is chrome, and the handle looks to be bakelite………….
If anyone knows who manufactured this or has any information – I would be very please. It looks to be from the 50s maybe older. Maybe “Park – Sherman”??
Thanks
eBay is the place for you! I found tons…

Cardboard Shot Glass Boxes

Is it ok to make a Ouija board AND PLANCHETTE out of cardboard?
IF YOU DONT LIKE MY QUESTION…DONT ANSWER/COMMENT!!
IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH MY QUESTION..DONT ANSWER/COMMENT!!
I cut the actual board out from the bottom of a shoebox and wrote the alphabet, “yes”, “no” and “goodbye” on with a Sharpie permanent marker.
I sketched out a “heart shaped” planchette and cut it out from a flap from a cardboard moving box., and just colored the whole planchette black with the black Sharpie.( I DONT have a shot glass to use, and a penny/ quarter is to0 small)
I just wanted to know if it was ok to to use cardboard for both the board and planchette/pointer. Like will it still have the same effect as a store bought one? or shot glass?
I already know the risk, so please dont tell me about that!!!
”IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH MY QUESTION..DONT ANSWER”
you cant agree with questions, only statements. however, i do and will always disagree with you just to annoy you. should you ever agree with me, i will change my mind.
cut me a check for $50 and i will agree with you (after all, it seems like its important to you) so pay me!
have a nice day, come again.

Shot Glass Display Shelves

Where can I find something like this?
I am looking for a wall mounted shelve/display thing. I need it to not just have shelves but also vertical dividers (like a shot glass display). I am thinking 4×6 “cubbies”. Where can I find something like this (not shot glass displays)? links please!
If you have a Hobby Lobby in your area, that’s where I’d look. If anyone would have something like that, they would.
Just thought of this too. Pier One Imports. That would be another good place to look.

Chocolate Shot Glasses Recipe

Any recipes for a special favorite after dinner drink?
This one is really great & as of right now, my favorite: If making for the 1st time, you might want to try the small shot sizes for each ingredient which include Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Bailey’s Irish Cream & Godiva Dark Chocolate Liquer. Using a large Frosted martini glass, start by squirting a few tiny swirls of a Chilled (nice) brand or even better, homemade, chocolate syrup which should easily stick to the glass even after filled. In separate Chilled container or pitcher, combine the three IMPORTANT ingredients (I have found these to be the best brands, especially for this drink), then gently stir & pour in glasses that have been placed in the Freezer for a few minutes while mixing the drinks. Some prefer a little less vodka, but I like equal amounts of each & these look as good as they taste. In case you haven’t guessed, best if served very cold, but not frozen. Let mek now what you think. Have a great weekend. cheers!
My favorite is an ABC. Amaretto, Baileys and coffee with whipped cream. But if I am feeling posh, I have a heated Amaretto up with a coffee back. Yummy!
